Transportation for People with Disabilities

A non-profit organization named 'Pat and the Elephant' provides a valuable transportation service for physically challenged Islanders and visitors. They provide service to clients with conditions that affect their ability to get around - visually impaired, those using artificial limbs, hearing impaired, and/or those using a wheelchair. Trius Transit, Charlottetown's public transit company, has some low-floor wheelchair-accessible buses in the Charlottetown area. You can call them to see which bus routes have accessibility for wheelchairs. [See Related Resources]
